  This is THE GREATEST Benefit I continue receiving for my very high Beach annual property taxes! Marlene, Vicki and Larry maintain and continue to enhance this great resource. Every time I enter, I am cheerfully and enthusiastically welcomed by name. I am not certain if Broward County Officials appreciate the benefit of this library for the thousands of residents and other patrons within a one mile radius (and also reaching out miles beyond). This facility's staff (specifically referring to the long time employees previously mentioned) have edified me on the County and National resources available to all who possess a library card. Thus, I have been able to order and timely receive books, CDs, DVDs and more by just requesting them in-person or on-line. Additionally, I have conducted extensive, varied and productive research with my library card on-line thanks to the myriad of databases available to me through the library. Many of these databases I would not be able to access as an individual. As well, my card has given me access to the Speciality libraries at Nova U. This library staff keeps great decorum in a small space. A variety of classes, lectures and movies are scheduled and posted at least a month in advance. I am grateful that Marlene and her staff respectively serve the needs (including, but not limited to; PC use for communications, job search, and entertainment, sense of community and hope, relief from the outdoor weather and more) of several middle-aged, plus individuals who have sadly become homeless despite working and paying US taxes for decades. I know of one delightful individual who volunteers to help make this library a wonderful place for all--thank YOU so much as well. Several months ago, a new librarian joined the staff. Personally, I would appreciate it if this fellow would consider the greater population of patrons (and not choices of his personal favorite genres), as his movie series are certainly screwed way (perhaps totally) too male!
